How we take ideas
from brief to live — our software development process

The phases

Six phases, one team

Our process has three stages — requirements, development and testing, and support. In practice each project moves through these six phases.

  • 01

    1. Discovery

We define what you need: goals, users, features, integrations and constraints. We analyse the requirements, document them and agree priorities, so everyone works from the same brief.

  • 02

    2. Design

Our designers map user flows, then produce wireframes and high-fidelity screens in Figma. You review an initial design before development starts, and changes here are cheap.

  • 03

    3. Development sprints

Frontend and backend are built in short Scrum sprints. At the end of each week you see working software, give feedback and help set the next priorities.

  • 04

    4. Quality assurance

Testing runs alongside development, not after it: code review, functional and regression testing, and checks on real devices and browsers before anything is released.

  • 05

    5. Launch

We deploy to production — web hosting, cloud infrastructure or the App Store and Google Play — and hand over access, documentation and code you own.

  • 06

    6. Support & maintenance

After launch we provide SLA-based support, L3 and production support, updates and new features, agreed to the level your product needs.

Discovery: getting the brief right

Most projects that go wrong do so because the brief was vague. Discovery fixes that early. We talk to you (and, where useful, your team or customers), list the features the first release truly needs, identify integrations such as payment gateways or existing systems, and note anything that affects the build — data privacy, roles and permissions, or a launch date that cannot move.

  • Requirements definition and analysis
  • Documented scope and priorities
  • Technical approach and stack recommendation
  • An estimate and plan you can review

Design: seeing the product before it is built

Design turns requirements into something you can click through. We start with flows and wireframes, then move to high-fidelity screens and, where helpful, a clickable prototype. For brand-new businesses our graphic designers can create the identity at the same time, so the product and the brand match from day one.

Development sprints: weekly progress you can see

We build in Scrum sprints using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python and React Native. Every week you get a demo of working features and a short update on what is done, what is next and anything blocking progress. Because you see the product as it grows, you can change priorities as you learn instead of discovering problems at the end.

  • Frontend and backend development
  • Weekly client feedback (Scrum)
  • Code in a repository you can access
  • Shared task board for transparency

QA and launch

Quality assurance is built into each sprint and intensifies before release. When the product is ready, we handle deployment and app store submission, set up monitoring where needed, and hand over credentials, documentation and source code. On completion and payment, the code is yours.

Support after launch

Software needs looking after. We offer SLA-based support and maintenance covering bug fixes, security updates, dependency upgrades, production support and new features. The level of cover is agreed with you, so it matches how critical the product is to your business.

Why it works

Why do we demo working software every week?

Weekly demos keep surprises small. You see real progress rather than status reports, you can test ideas on working screens, and if something is not quite right it is corrected within days rather than discovered at the end. It also means you can reprioritise features as you learn more about your users.

The same rhythm works whether you hire us for a fixed-scope project, a dedicated team or staff augmentation. Our working hours — Monday to Saturday, 09:00–22:30 Pakistan time — overlap the UK and Gulf working days and US East Coast mornings, so demos and calls happen live.

Most clients spend time in discovery and design, then join a weekly demo and answer questions during the build. The more feedback you give early, the closer the result is to what you need.
