Time zones and communication
We work Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 22:30 Pakistan time (UTC+5). In US terms that gives:
- Eastern: from the start of your day until about 12:30 in winter and 13:30 in summer
- Central: until about 11:30 in winter and 12:30 in summer
- Mountain: until about 10:30 in winter and 11:30 in summer
- Pacific: an early-morning window, until about 09:30 in winter and 10:30 in summer
West Coast teams usually prefer an early stand-up plus written updates in Slack and the project board. We can schedule occasional later calls for launches or workshops by arrangement.
Contracts, IP and payments
Work is covered by a written proposal and contract setting out scope, milestones, acceptance, price and ownership. Billing currency and payment terms are agreed in the proposal. We are happy to sign your NDA before discovery.
On completion and payment, IP in the code and designs we create for you is assigned to you, and the repositories and cloud accounts are in your name.
US privacy and HIPAA
The US has no single federal privacy law. State laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), and similar laws in other states, set rules on notices, opt-outs and access requests. Health data may fall under HIPAA, which has specific security and contracting requirements.
We treat these as design requirements: data minimisation, access controls, encryption, audit logs, consent and opt-out flows, and hosting with providers and regions that fit your obligations. Whether a product is compliant also depends on your policies and agreements, so your counsel should confirm what applies. We do not claim certification.
