Working hours and communication
We work Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 22:30 Pakistan time (UTC+5). Live overlap with a standard Australian working day is roughly:
- Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart: from 14:00 in winter (AEST) or 15:00 in summer (AEDT) until the end of your day
- Brisbane (no daylight saving): from 14:00 all year
- Adelaide: from 13:30 in winter or 14:30 in summer
- Perth: from 12:00 all year
Australian mornings fall outside our hours, so we plan calls for your afternoon and post written updates at the end of our day.
Contracts, IP and payments
Every project is covered by a written proposal and contract that sets out scope, milestones, acceptance, price and ownership. Billing currency and payment terms are agreed in the proposal. We will sign your NDA before discovery.
On completion and payment, IP in the code and designs we create for you passes to you, along with the repositories and cloud accounts.
The Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles
Many Australian businesses are covered by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, including rules on cross-border disclosure, and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. Health and financial products can carry extra obligations.
We design for these as requirements: collecting only what is needed, clear notices and consent, access controls, encryption, logs that support breach assessment and hosting in Australian cloud regions when you need it.
